The Namaste Cooking program is a nutrition and cooking program designed to teach the staple principles of Ayurveda, healthy eating, and the alchemy of spices. This program offers a range of cooking skills, meal planning, recipes, hygiene practices, kitchen safety, and knowledge about the health benefits of spices. Part of this culinary experience is also learning more about each person’s body type known as a dosha. Participants learn more about the delicate equilibrium of their own constitutions while embracing time-tested life skills and cultivating a positive relationship with their bodies and unique doshas. Part discussion and knowledge sharing, part interactive cooking – this culinary experience teaches participants basic nutrition with easy everyday recipes and how to integrate nutritious habits in an approachable and practical way into any diet.
